Regarding upgrading to +10 (i got some questions, hoping u can answer).

So.. how does this stuff work with upgrading stones?
For example if i have an level 30 Blue weapon.
And i want to make it to +10 as "safe"/"probably" possible, how would i succeed?
Personally i would think i need level 31 enchancement stones and upward, but.. how correct am i with this theory? Can someone please explain some of the mechanics? its rather new for me :>

Well, it's something like you have a 50/50 chance if you use a level 30 stone on a level 30 white weapon. your chance goes up by 5% per level higher your stone. so a level 40 stone should give you 100%... unless there is a cap somewhere that I don't know about.

Greens, Blues, and golds are considered to be higher than their listed level.... Green is like Level +3, Blue level +8 and Gold Level +15. I've also heard that crafted greens and blues are a little higher than monster dropped greens and blues.

But basically, if you have a blue weapon, I would never use a stone less than 10 levels higher than the listed level of your weapon..... you'lll fail a whole lot if you do.

I forget where the link is but a lvl 40 is not 100% on a blue weapon but more like 75%. I 'll try to find linky.

yeah, it would be around 60% according to the tabel I looked at, to use a level 40 stone on a level 30 blue. It's not easy to Enchant weapons in this game.... I'm pretty much set on not enchanting at all until I hit like level 45.... since 45-50 will probly take me months :-P

It boils down to this: have alot of money, buy stones at least 10 levels above your weapon, and pray they don't break. it's a money sink, but well worth it. I just wish I had more cash.

if the stone is too high itll also lower the chance, like a lvl 55 on a white lvl 30 will mostly fail because its too high, theres a "glitch" with the hannets weapons where you CAN upgrade them to +10 with lvl 37's (tried and proven by some ppl in my FT group, my dagger is +4)
