Description of what is needed:

Legion Emblem
Legion emblem is a mark that represents your Legion, and it can be exclusively used to show off your Legion to other users. A cloak is usually worn when creating or joining Legion, this Legion emblem is engraved on the cloak.

Emblem Registration upon Legion Level
When a Legion is first created, an emblem cannot be registered and a pre-assigned common emblem is automatically used. When Legion grows and becomes level 2, you can register one of the emblems that have been prepared (this emblem cannot be further modified or edited). When Legion becomes level 3, an image file (256X256) created by the user can be registered.



How to register an emblem that’s created by the user

- The size of Legion emblem should be 256*256 (24 bit) and "emblem.bmp" file (or "emblem.tga").
- Place your Legion emblem file to upload onto AION folder and press YES (CONFIRM) button.


Reward: The winner who comes up with the best/nicest "Emblem" for the Legion, will recieve a reward of 250k Kinah + ??? on the second "payout" after the first event. U can also earn you a nice title of Archangel in our Forums. (Unless you are already an Archangel or Seraph or higher), then we will adjust to that. Enjoy!! And show us your late Arts!

edit* oh, and some info. If you make it a .tga file it needs to be ... ummm 32bit ... I think... 24 bit is only for the .bmp files

Although my artistic skills are dismal, it woruld be cool to have like a sun moon thing with maybe two pole arms crossing in front. Im definitely liking the Sun and moon idea tho zan

Only decided to color one since it takes awhile.

Those all look pretty good. I'd want to add more blood and little furback pieces.. but beggars can't be choosers.

I like #4 It's awesome as is. Blood and stuff isn't needed, after all there is no blood in a fantasy game :-P

But do make the white background transparant, that way its even better. I like em all so far, but lets keep them coming. The more the better.
Bit more colours would be nice to i guess? I love the wings/moon/sun in it though! Thats perfect. Wonder if the text Equinox would be possible.

You have to be pretty good with photoshop to make the background transparent... there is some way to do it with the .tga file... .bmp it would be impossible

And if he spelled out Equinox, it'd be nearly invisible.

"Equinox" probably would not get lost, depending on the point size of the font and which font was used. (Bold serif-probably light sans-serif-probably not) It also depends on how the game displays this texture, and how large it appears. If it isnt scaled up too far then text should be fine.

The white background is only there because its a .jpg at the moment, I imagine the game has a color (or alpha channel) that it uses to determine masking. Most of the time its a very bright pink that a game will show as transparent. I'll have to investigate further or just try a few things whenever the game launches and we can use emblems.

Someone on Aionsource was talking about Alpha channels, I really don't understand it though

Well, seeing as how we'll have Equinox floating about our heads, I dun see why we would need it on our capes as well. I think the initial "E" would be just fine...or even just the symbol. But that's just my $0.02
