> What is your RL name and character name?
Stephan, MerkTheBlue
> Are you at least 18 years old?
Honestly, I don't even remember my 18th birthday ...
> Where are you from? Knowing your time zone can help us when scheduling guild events.
Germany
> How much do you play? 10, 20, 30 or even 40 hours a week? Is it mainly weekends or any time?
Varies strongly, depending on work and other real life aspects. I promised myself never ever to play hardcore again but currently I'm playing daily.
> Please let us know how you heard of Equinox and if you know any of our members.
I met some Equinox people now and then - today I had the chance to play with a couple of your people and liked what I saw: Competent, friendly and helpful. That's the style I like.
> Do you have a microphone or headset to use with Ventrilo?
Yupp. Need to reinstall Ventrilo but that shouldn't pose much of a problem. Though I must admit I didn't like it overly.
> Do you think you can visit this website and forum at least a few times a week?
Sure.
> Any side notes/information you have for our current Equinox members?
Lots to tell, I guess. Concerning MMORPGs: I've been guild leader of one of the top 5 (or 6?) guilds in Everquest (on Antonius Bayle server) for over a year. So I know what it means to create and lead a guild from mid level to the top ranks - a lot of work, a lot of time investment and dedication, managing abilities, the thick fur it requires to endure drama queens, and so on. Too much time investment for me, seen in hindsight - that's why I'll never play hardcore again. Real life success was seriously endangered. I'll be very careful about that. Concerning Real World: I'm a freelancing database consultant, sometimes working extremely hard, sometimes not at all. I love adventure travelling with my motorbike, have tried a couple of sports including chess, martial arts and free climbing - my latest fascination is riding a hardcore enduro motorbike.
