What is the max crit rate ?

I read somewhere that the max crit rate was somewhere around 450? after that each point of crit gets halfed or so.
Can anyone confirm the amount of crit where the breakpoint turns in?
or enlighten me if im mistaken, or care for a explanation? Thanks!

It is 440 then it takes like 10 crit to = 1/2%. Before that it is closer to 5=1%. It's on aionsource somewhere.

technically there isn't a max.... but there are tiers lol. 440 is the most efficient amount.... well.... maybe a sin might want to go higher, would be unwise for anyone else tho.

yea till 440, 10 crit= +1% crit chance. 440 to i think around 490 or 500 gives .5% crit chance for 10 crit. After 500 gives .2 % crit chance per 10 crit. I think i goes down to 1.% per 10, but nobody should be putting that much crit on a char....... or should they muah muah muah

After reading some on Aionsource.. its actually possible for a sin to get around 1200~ crit rate lol.

Which is calculated around 74% crit.
Think of the abyss gear with 6 slots in each piece.. Think of buff scrolls/food/potions whatever.
duell wielding = 200 crit + 12 mana slots.
And so on.

its possible, but the damage you lose from using all slots for crit is a big downside for sins. Sure its nice to crit 74% of the time
but due to the diminishing returns on the crit scale, i think it would be good to get up there, but once you start getting into .2% crit chance for 10 crit, it would be easier to just start stacking up the damage. Is there any limit on stacking p-attack stones?

There isn't any max, but remember, it only seems to effect normal attacks. Phys Att doesnt' effect your skills at all.

Not sure about that, but the fact that people don't take atk stones (not fast at least),
is because the atk stones are only +4 or 5 at max. Which is pretty low compared to other stuff.
I know for one, that me as a chanter would probably go for the 440~ crit thing.
Then focus in enough PARRY + Evasion.
And with any leftovers, go for HP.

Seems spread out, but the natural parry on staves + parry + def mantra = huge. SO you only need like ~10-12 stones max. Evasion perhaps a bit more but still doable.
